Defective or Faulty Goods — 6-Month Warranty
If a product is defective, faulty, unsafe, or not of acceptable quality at the time of delivery, you may return it within 6 months of the delivery date. This right is provided under Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act.
For defective or warranty claims:
- You may elect a full refund, replacement unit, or repair — the choice is yours.
- PMC TechLife covers all return shipping costs for confirmed defective items.
- Items may be inspected before a resolution is confirmed.
- Damage resulting from misuse, physical impact, incorrect installation, or normal wear and tear falls outside warranty cover.
Change-of-Mind Returns — 7-Day Window
You may return an item within 7 days of delivery if you change your mind about the purchase. This applies to online orders only, in line with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).
To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the item must:
- Be unused and in its original, resalable condition.
- Include all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
- Be returned to our authorised dispatch warehouse (address provided upon approval).
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer's responsibility. There are no handling or restocking fees on approved returns.
Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
The following cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons:
- Gift cards and store credit.
- Custom or personalised items.
- In-ear devices and personal sound amplifiers (hygiene exclusion — once opened).

- Processing time is 5–7 business days from approval. Paystack refunds typically reflect within this window; Peach Payments refunds within 3–5 business days. Your bank's own processing time may add 1–3 additional business days.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed on our side.

- Orders may be cancelled at no charge before they are dispatched.
- Cancellations before dispatch result in a full refund to the original payment method, processed within 5–7 business days.
