How We Source and Fulfil Orders
PMC TechLife operates a dual-fulfilment model, which we disclose transparently:
Locally Stocked Products — A curated selection of our most popular products is stocked at our uMhlanga distribution point and shipped within 2–6 business days via local courier.
Supplier-Fulfilled Products — The majority of our catalogue is fulfilled directly from our verified international suppliers. These orders are shipped within 6–13 business days. PMC TechLife manages the supplier relationships, handles all import compliance, and provides full after-sales support regardless of where the product ships from.
We are not a marketplace. Every product on pmctechlife.co.za is sold by PMC TechLife. We own the customer relationship, the warranty obligation, and the returns process — end to end.
Our Approach to Importing
South Africa's import landscape is complex. Duties, VAT, customs delays, and compliance requirements create significant barriers for consumers trying to access quality international products. PMC TechLife was built specifically to navigate this complexity on behalf of our customers.
We work with established international suppliers, manage all import logistics, and ensure that every product sold on our platform arrives legally cleared, quality-checked, and ready to use. For orders under R2,000, we operate on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis — meaning there are no surprise charges at the door. Orders over R2,000 may be subject to import duties payable by the customer, as disclosed in our Shipping Policy.
Local Support, Not a Call Centre
Our support team is South African-based and reachable via live chat, email, and WhatsApp. We don't outsource customer service. When something goes wrong, you deal with us directly — the same company that sold you the product, regardless of where it shipped from.
